I had a pleasant stay at the Renaissance Istanbul Polat Bosphorus Hotel, with very nice views of the Bosphorus from the rooftop restaurant that I regret not dining at due to my packed schedule. The staff, particularly Murat, were attentive and provided great insights about local attractions. However, I had an uncomfortable experience with my first room due to cigarette smoke, but they quickly provided a more suitable non-smoking room. Overall, it was enjoyable, yet I found the hotel location required a bit of walking to reach shops and eateries.
